Howser visited Old Town Tustin on September 25 Click
here to purchase a copy of the DVD. The
ArtWalk,
held in Old Town Tustin on October 18th was a great success. Working with
the City of Tustin Parks and Recreation Department and the Tustin Area
Council for Fine Arts, the Conservancy cosponsored the event and hosted
the Plein Air Competition. Four trolley tours transported attendees around
Old Town, pointing out historic sites and outstanding architecture in
our historic district, guided by board members of the Conservancy. Artists
could be seen throughout Old Town on the days leading up to the ArtWalk.
Judges picked winners from the more than 20 entries. Prizes, funded by
the Conservancy, were $1000 for First Place, $500 for Second Place, $250
for Third Place and $100 each for the two Honorable Mentions.
